Design principles for data sharing
Future of Data Sharing (FoDS) is an initiative by D91 Labs and Facebook to design a UX playbook for consented data sharing within Account Aggregators. This project delves deeper into understanding motivations and challenges in sharing personal data with financial institutions through qualitative research and subject matter expert discussions. The results from the research exercise have been dissimilated into six design principles for anyone developing data sharing workflows using account aggregators. These principles are addressed to product, business and design teams at fintech startups, to help build trustworthy financial products.
(PS: This project was conceived and executed by Dharmesh Ba with the help of colleagues at Setu. Dharmesh established D91 Labs for Setu, India's first user research lab focused on Fintech.)
